Water intrusion in my MINI
Hey,
Has anyone else had water in the back hatch area, or on the floor in the back?
I seem to be getting water in both places, with no visible top leaks. Any suggestions? I haven't seen this issue on the forums, but I'm sure I can't be the only one with this problem!

I had this problem in the left rear boot floor. Was a split fender liner in the left wheel well. Had it replaced when the MINI was in the body shop to replace & paint the rear plastic bumper cover (hit & run in parking lot). The boot has been dry ever since.

A split fender liner? How was it damaged?

Don't know. It was that way when I bought the MINI. I didn't see it until I started looking for the water entry point. Might have been from a blowout or the car sliding off the road. There were 2 previous owners.
