My top wont release on the passenger side, getting it diagnosed on monday 8/2 but by reading prev threads, looks like its the cable. i know the parts consists of both sides, but Im wondering if anybody can refer me to a place in RI or MA, other than dealerships to have this repaired. Was told approx $2700. from dealer in Boston and am trying to avoid that cost. Any help??? Im missing my convertible on this beautiful summer day on the East Coast. TY

You can probably fix it yourself and save 1500.

 

Thanks, Would love to be able to fix it myself, but have very limited knowledge of cars. My brother is a mechanic, but saw that it took someone 10 hours to do & they said they would never want to do it again. Am still hoping for an independent shop to do it for me.

 

A member of my local club performed it and did it in 4 hours! First time doing it himself. Anyways, good luck finding a place :D
