a stroller that fits in the boot!

Hello everyone,
I am a first time poster here as well as a first time mini-owner. I have had my mini-convertible for 2 years now and love it!

I know this has been asked before, but the responses I found were from years ago so I thought I may pose the question again in the hopes of getting an more up-to-date answer.

I am looking for a stroller that will fit in the boot without putting the back seat down when the stroller is folded. Since it will be the primary stroller, it needs to be a fairly good one with some features.

I have been looking at the peg-perego skate as well as the quinny zapp but and I think those would both fit but am looking for other options as well!

Any advice or input would be welcomed!

Thank you!

i've got a zapp for our to-be daughter (over due as of 7.1.10) and it fits easily in my r56. i'm sure it would fit in yours as its one of the smallest around. putting in the maxi cosi mico takes up most of the back seat but it will fit. we also got a quinny zapp but that's a whole back end kinda thing.

I have an MCS hardtop and use the Baby Jogger City Mini and it fits just fine with one rear wheel removed (very easy to remove/replace). I don't know how the boot size in the MCS compares to the Cabrio, but I love my City Mini. There's even room for our diaper bag too.

I was just coming on to ask the same question. Is there any hope of finding a car seat/stroller combination?

We have a Graco system stroller/baby seat and we use the baby seat with the City Mini and an adapter (costs $25). The baby seat is a snug fit, but it works fine.

Hey Smajck,
I design and make strollers, maybe I can help...
much depends where youre located in terms of availability and bear in mind modern strollers have very different folding mechanisms. If the stroller receives a car seat it is called a travel system. The Peg Perego skate is a big and heavy stroller, not a good fit. Quinny makes a great ride and the maxi cosi seat is a good option. The best car seat on the market IMO is the Safety 1st Air Protect and should work on a Quinny. Uppa Baby makes a great stroller, City Mini is a popular choice...and if you want to splurge, the Orbit Baby system is the most versatile. Frankly, the coolest stroller that will be coming out shortly is at Toys R Us is called the Urbo
Here is where you can see a preview [currently available in the UK]
