Inner rear cabrio covering?

I just had my top replaced due to wear and holes and am stunned at how great the new top looks! I did notice something on the inside, however: I can now see between the rear interior panels and the top such that the top frame and trunk cavity are clearly visible. I feel like this wasn't the case before the replacement. Is there a cover for this area that I'm missing? Does anyone have any pics of this area that I could compare with?

Thanks,

Luis

Are you talking about top up or down? I didn't follow your description and I think you need to post a pic to show what you mean.

It is interesting you posted this - I too had my top replaced recently, and noticed the same openings on the interior after the replacement. I took the car back and asked them to check it, and they assured me that the openings were always there! I guess I just didn't notice them before.

My R57 has these 'gaps' with the top up also. I wouldn't be surprised if the R52 did also. These holes are filled by the rails of the top when it is down.

I'll snap a photo this weekend to show what I mean (sorry, I know my description wasn't great), but the gap is in the interior with the top up. Maybe I too didn't notice this gap, but it sure feels like I couldn't see in there before. Wish I had snapped some photos of the before...
