I wanted one of these tops for my Cabrio, but no one could make one. Looks like the new Cabrio will get it

 

Yes, I saw a article back in '05 in the British MINI magazine about them being offered by some company. But never actually heard of anyone getting one.

 

Mini Mania UK said they could do it on their web site, so I placed an order for a purple top with UJ. They tooked the order and e-mail me to make sure this is what I wanted. Well 3 months of e-mails of various excuses why there having such a hard time with it. In the end they finally admitted they couldn't do it, so I got a purple top with no UJ. I haven't installed it yet, waiting for spring to do it. Now I know it's possible so maybe I'll wait until someone will do one for the R52.
