R52 Convertible wear at hem

Convertible wear at hem
A small chunk of the rubber in the hem above the passenger door of my 06 MINI has broken away at the seam as shown below. Has this happened to others? Would this be a warranty item?

That's the "rain gutter" for what it's worth, which isn't much. :-)

Hasn't happened to me, but YES that should be warranty-able. And will get you a whole new roof...
