Reset Window Indexing

Does anyone know the process to reset the window indexing on the 06 cabrio?

I recently had the passengers side front side glass replaced but the technician didn't remove the chunks of glass that were stuck up in the top molding so the window motor reset the indexing due to the resistance. So now the window stops before it is fully up in the molding.

Thanks for any help!

If I remember correctly, raise the window all the way and hold the switch for several seconds (five, I think).

Is there any ignition sequence that I need to do first? Does the car need to be off? Or just roll down the window then roll it up and hold it for a couple seconds?

thanks!

I just found an entry in my owner's manual that says:

1) Close doors
2) Close windows
3) Hold both window toggles up for approximately one second

This is if the windows aren't dropping when you open the door, but I would think it would work for your problem, too.
