hang in there, it'll be worth the wait. although i'm sure it'll be torture.

i personally dig the sidewalk badge, breaks up the monotony of the side view, which is the least attractive view of the Cooper.

I am sure you're right, it's like- been there done that. I am much happier with the Cooper, AND did I mention that when mother nature dumped 6" of snow on us last week, the Cooper handled it like a champ, there's no way the M3 could have performed as well.

WORD. my ride last week sucked! despite new conti wintercontacts....man did i miss those dunlop wintersport m3's....sadly no longer made. for those of you considering an m3 in the northeast, winter tires are a must (avoid the conti's).

maybe we'll get together at helix someday and get those mods done and quaff some joe at wawa. 'till then i just have to be patient....not one of my best attributes!

i should add to the thread that the first time i test drove the mini, the salesman made an offer to buy the m3 on the spot, which i considered until i walked towards the m3 and thought to myself that i must be crazy! i am keeping her till the end of the lease and will miss her dearly. my reasons for the switch have already been stated. now i can't wait to hear that my mini has been scheduled for production!!! is it week 6 yet?

Really? Sweet! Holding your breath? Good.

We have a Helix 15% pulley on the MCS. Was done about 2 years after getting the car. Definitely did some to reduce missing the M. Whenever I find myself missing the M3, I just remember my nickname for that car: "the Christmas Tree" ... because it was Boston Green and the various fault lights were always coming on...

Of course, my d.d. is a TDI, so even the Cooper feels sporty compared to that.
