R52 picked up the new car
I'd love to add one of these to my car, but am concerned that it will void the warranty if I run into any electrical problems.
And frankly, you could just take it back out before going to the dealer
Except for purely cosmetic changes, this has to be one of the least intrusive mods you can make as it is merely an interface between you circuit switches and your MINI - it can be put it or removed at any time.

What do you mean by "the other" circuit?
This thread gives link to vendors for each, and in pst #6 you can read my comments on pricing for each.

Installation probably took me about 30 minutes, but that's because I tend to be very slow and careful. If I had to unplug it now for trouble shooting, it would probably take 10-15 minutes to unplug, test, and reconnect.
There are 2 circuits which are popular, Ian's and the MCAW.

It doesn't appear that GBMini is going to carry them anymore since he has to order 5000 at a shot and he doesn't want to get stuck with them. I've posted a WTB add in FS, and still have a call into Outmotoring but that will have to wait until Monday. Right now, things don't look good for our hero's...

PMaster2 I think you've hit the nail on the head. Besides when life throws lemons at you, velcro your damn GD opener and go for a long ride.
So where's yours? Is velcro'd under the switch panel the only choice, or are there other stealthy options out there?

Mine's velcro'd under the switchbox. Somebody else posted the idea on here, I just copied it - At first I feared poor reception, but I have no reception problems at all and ya can't see it unless your working under the dash. Make sure to get velcro w good glue though b/c the heat could loosen cheap glues in the summer heat!
