Well, the painted arches on an aerokit are not standard by any means. (plus color matched aero grill surround) . . . and it seems to sit low (although that may just be angle of the photo) -- I wouldn't be surprised if there are some after-market springs on there.
My guess is you'll find some other non-OEM stuff. . . painted arches aren't usually the first mod. and if you have exhaust, the previous owner may very well have put in a reduction pulley.

well, i just looked, after reading the exhaust sticky in the drivetrain section, and it seems our exhaust is stock save for some different tips. but it has a nice "burble" note to it when one is shifting.
i forgot about the body kit being painted. we are the second owners of this 4800 mile (at time of purchase, currently sitting at just over 7k on the odo) beaut.
any tips on eyeballing other mods? i will get some better pics up when i can.

It's a custom setup I had done at a local shop. The installer lowered the brace by about 3/4" using spacers to clear the exhaust - it's pretty tight in there for 2.5" tubing.

There have been some GREAT deals out there on the aero kits lately. I bought mine for $600 (the whole kit). I think it would look great on the Blimey MINI. Even adding just the side skirts would be cool, which was something I considered before finding the deal on the whole kit.

Hmmm.... Aero Kit... Hmmm.....
Pic from the show yesterday...
Nice weather today - and a still-clean car from yesterday's show... so drove around the country and shot some photos.... I like how these show some (but not all) of the very different looks of Cool Blue, depending on the light...
More pics are on the new Blimey Photos page on my blog.

Lookin good Blimey. I especially like the contrast from the nuclear stack. Actually the pics near the wood cabin look great. I lived in SC for a number years, and we used to have red clay which would stain everything and never come out. Is that a patch of it your parked on?
BTW, we make our way every other summer or so to Emerald Isle, only a few short hours from your local. Ever been? Great place to take a Mini.

Thanks - yeah, been to Emerald Isle quite a few times.
Nah, that's just sandy soil I'm on in front of the old tobacco barns... but the bricks are at a brick factory nearby, and there they dig the clay right outta the ground... in our area we're right on the "border" between the coastal plain's sandy soil and the piedmont's clay... in some farm fields, you can actually see half sand and half clay...

Everyone does these differently - but mine lists all the factory features, then all the Union Jack theme stuff, the other interior mods, and the performance mods. Also has approximate factory HP and modified HP...

Interior
Well let's see, I wanted to do something special with the interior when I got my car. With the body color" Purple Haze" and the white mirror caps and wheels I want to do the same for the interior. When trying to do something major like this its best to have someone who knows someone I lucked out because I work with a guy who has a lot of custom work done on his cars, body and interior work. He turn me on a guy that has his shop in Antioch, Ca. When I show up at he's place I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep my MINI there It was dirty, disoganize, disheveied and guys that work there look like they just got out of jail Before I got back in my car the owner of the shop came up said "Hi I'm Julio" and stuck his hand. My co-worker told him I might be coming by so I couldn't just bail. I figure I'll tell what I want, listen to him politely and get the hell out of there! So I told him what I wanted, the first thing that surprise me he talked me out of me wanting leather instead he said vinyl is cheaper and it's easier to take care of than leather and he showed me some examples. Then he said "I can do everything you want for $3000 in two and half weeks" Before my brain could think about it ,my stupid mouth said yes! The following week I drop the car off and went home a prayed and fast for 2 weeks. Man! I was going nuts couldn't sleep thinking I screw up big time these guys never worked on a MINI before so they where learning on MY CAR! Julio called me and said the car is ready, on my way there I was thinking what I can do to fix the mess they might made of my car and so on When I saw my car for the first time I was dumbfounded, Julio went beyond my expectation he did stuff I didn't even think of. And he charge me the price he quoted me, another surprise! Like they say "Don't Judge a Book my is Cover" To date I'm still very happy with my interior
