That's quite a temperature range you have there, MINIFVR !

I had told my other half that once the temp hits 85, the top goes up and the AC comes on. After just two days of driving, I've realized mid 80s with the wind rushing through the MINI makes for a comfy and fun ride. But let me say... when we hit a traffic jam, 10 minutes of sitting still was enough. We both wanted the top up and the AC on !

So, sans traffic jams, now I'm thinking my range will be something like 45 to 90. Should make for lots of topless motoring !

Subtle changes, yes. Bringing a little color into the MINI without losing the classy look of the Jet Black MCSC (hopefully).

Thanks, glad you like the UJ stuff. I'm not going to go nuts with it like Blimey , but just enough to bring some color accents to the car. In fact, I believe that is IT for the UJ mods.

 

Yep, drove it almost 900 miles across the country with no tags. Didn't get stopped once, even though we passed at least 5 police officers. So, I got tags on it today. Maryland issues you hard plates with a temp registrations. Once you get the emissions testing done, they send you the permanent registration.

Of course, we're going to get vanity tags for this one also, so that tag won't be long for this world.

We like the chrono package... have it on all three of our MINIs. I like having the additional gauges and I'm not a fan of the huge speedo in the center of the dashboard, even though I like that retro aspect of it.

 

I have to say, I wasn't sure how the UJs would work with the black but the things you did look great!!

 

Yeah, Mel, I may not have been bold enough to try it with black except that Brett (Fahtrim) had UJ mirror covers on in the pics when he listed it for sale and I thought it looked GREAT.

Funny thing... he thought others might not like them so he sold the mirror covers to another NAM member.

I had to get my fiance to buy into the UJ thing and she wasn't so sure. But now that they're installed, I think she's happy with them.

 

As my friend likes to say "nice haul". I find it funny that your newest addition has the nick I was going to name my MINI! Instead, I chose Dr. Evil's companion, "Mr. Bigglesworth".

Lame ? Well, the Iggles don't win Super Bowls like your Steelers (my second favorite team), but they are a fun team to watch. And they're a well run organization, not like the city's baseball team which frustrates me to near death. :impatient

Wow nice! I really wanted to get jet black when I ordered my MCSC but it wasn't available at that point :( I'm extreeeemely jealous.

 

This is going to be interesting to watch. I had the car for a while, but didn't mod it up, now I get to see it grow via pictures.

 

As I said before... NO JEALOUSY ALLOWED ON NAM !!!

Envy is okay though.

You'll still recognize the MINI after I'm done with all the mods, I promise ! The car already has a lot of the little extras that I like so no major mods needed. Just a lot (maybe 15) minor changes here and there.

 

Recognize the MINI...maybe, recognize you after the NAM name change...well???
