roof problems fixed?

I have ordered a 2007 cabrio under the assumption that the top issues had been resolved. However, in reading these posts, I am nervous that they not may not be. I have lived with a '96 Saab 900 'vert with expensive roof issues and I am hoping not to have to repeat those problems. Any one with roof experience on the 2007?
Besides that, I am getting excited to join the world of the mini.

My wife and I are thinking about getting a 2007 Mini Cooper S Cabrio (chili red). So I'm also interested to hear from 2007 MCSC owners regarding the top issues. Thanks.

We have had ours since May, no problems at all. But to be honest it could blow off this sunday and I would still not change my mind about buying this car. Dont let any type of complaint keep you from a MINI, You will not regret it.

I have a December 05 build (Model year 06) and the top is just fine. I believe the top problems are mostly early builds and a few later oddballs. The ones that did have issues were replaced under warranty and adjustments were made under a MINI technical service bulletin to fix the problem from happening again. There are also some very picky owners who see "white spots" on the top and complain. Though some of these are valid most are simply spots on the canvas that turn shiny from normal rubbing going up and down and resting on the folds. Don't worry about it, just enjoy.
