Anyone have problems getting the left rear (driver's side) seat to fold forward? Does your lock remove too easily and come out? What's up? Am I missing something.

 

Never experienced that - sounds like a trip to the dealer.... Another Mini Mystery!

 

I have the same problem with my 2005 Cabrio (I've owned it 5 weeks now). The right side seat back folds with no problem, but the driver's side, will not unlatch. I've gotten it to work twice after some fiddling, but I can't seem to repeat the tricks. I'm guessing a dealer trip (150 miles):mad:

 

Any chance the side that won't come down is locked.

 

I had the same problem.

The driver's side rear seat latch broke. When you pull the latch inside the boot, it doesn't unlock.

The dealer fixed it but, of course, I had to wait on the part to be shipped to them as I don't believe that they keep any parts in stock at the dealership.

Unless you need it to fold down immediately, you might want to wait on the trip to the dealer when you have several other things to take care of. That is, unless you close to the dealer, which I'm not.
