R52 Dash question

Dash question
I just got a 05 Cabrio, On the dash what is the button that has a tachometer, What does it do? I push it but i dont see nothing light up?

In your Owners Manual it'll say that the button is used to dim your dash light.

Push and release to brighten your dash lights, push and hold to dim them. It takes a few presses to see a change, and about 10 to go the full range.

oh wow, Its looks like really important button, I thaught it was for maybe for like over driver on & off, Car didnt come with the manual. So i was what is this button. Thanks again.

That is the 2nd toggle from the left, and is either ASC+T or DSC.

go to Motoringfile.com. They have .pdf files of the owner's manual for each year.
