AS a buddy of mine says "Sorry about yer luck!" -- Here in Cincinnati, we have CincyMini at The BMW Store as the dealership, and they have been "swell" to everyone of their clients as far as I know. Certainly they have been to us. The Sales crew have always been most helpful. And the Service department excellent. You should write a letter to the owner of your dealership detailing your experience. Seems to me the whole Mini Experience is about Friendliness, Curtesy, and Dealer and Client satisfaction. And obviously you have not had that, and you certainly deserve it!
Cheers

Hey Senator,

I can understand how you feel, as I would feel the same, given the same circumstances. Don't take your money back, wait on your car, and enjoy the daylights out of it afterwards. I have very little patience with menacity.

You'll get over your mad as soon as you start driving the car. In the mean time, chill and enjoy the blessings of youth

I don't see anything out of ordinary here? The OL is an extra...don't expect it to give you your fortune. Most brands don't have anything like it. Have you ever ordered a car before? ALL brands are like this...it is a tough process...but deal with it...what is one extra day? You have waited for it to be built is one day really going to kill you? The dealers are always being pinged by customers when it is it? over and over and over again...they have other things to do as well....they don't just sit there and hand keys over all day. I think for the most part this is totally normal and nothing out of the ordinary. Simply relax and wait for your car to be delivered...it isn't like they said it was going to be here last year and your still waiting. Save your energy for something that is actaully worth getting upset over. I'm sorry for being so direct and not trying to personally attack you...but I don't think that there is anything here to be upset over...sure we are all anxious to get our cars...but so is every other customer they have.

Be patient, your MINI will get here, and you won't be able to stop smiling. Good times are coming and I wish you the best when you get your MINI and hope you have a blast of a time.

I plan on changing the oil all by my self, nothing like getting your hands dirty and getting up close with your new mini. anyway its a good skill to learn, keep records on everything you do. sorry about the problems, Dont know how the service dept. is in our area, hope they have more than one mini tech.
