MINI life expectancy

What is the life expectancy of a MCS?

I'm a n00b, so forgive if this is a dumb question.

If you follow all the mfg recommendations, can I expect to get 200K out of the motor/tranny before I see a major failure?

Things like CV joints, superchargers, alternators, AC compressors excluded(regardless of mfg, you either luck out here or you don't) will the powertrain go 200k?

Assume that this car will see a daily long highway commute and turn an easy 30K per year. The car will occasionally be driven hard, but this will be fairly rare.

Using the key words, "following the manuf recs", I say no. The life of a car is directly proportional to the way you drive and the maintenance you give.
