Here's the original pic but in better quality

I tell you what.. this whole process has been difficult. I'm not sure if I will buy another car from a private party with a lien on it but I am trying to stay excited about the car. I ended up cancelling the loan at my credit union to get a loan with USAA (the same bank the current onwer has as the lien holder) just to make the process easier. Now, get this. After I pay his loan off they are going to send the title to him and I have to bother him MORE to get the title in my name. Forunately, VA is a an electronic title state and the title will hopefully be released by early next week. Then I will meet up with the seller and we will go to the DMV and put it in my name togehter. THEN I can register and get plates for it. Until then I am either going to leave it at his house or take it once payment clears and just park it.. as VA also has some pretty rediculous rules concerning temp tags. You can only get them from dealers. Best I can get is travel tags which are good only from one destination (sellers location) to another (buyers location).

So, it may have to sit while I wait for the title to be released and get all my stuff sorted but my god will it be worth it in the end.

I'm excited but trying not to think about it too much cause I want time to go fast

Till then, pics will still be on hold.. but they will come.. I got a Canon Digital Rebel now and a genuine interest in photography.

Congrats on your purchase! Personally I feel you made the right choice regardless of color or mileage. Being a person who has owned over 30 cars and made a few $$$$ on some of these purchases I'm all about buying at the highest point of depreciation. Lots of options are always good for resale and the condition sounds excellent so it seems like you've made a good purchase.... I know when you see one really clean it's hard to lowball, I usually always ask what THEY would like to get for it sometimes you'd be surprised! Anyway you've done really well and welcome to a great forum.

ARGGG! So you have it but can't drive it, that's cruel. It sounds like it will all be worked out soon and you'll laugh about VA's rules later.
It does sound like VA is making it tough(er) for uninsured driver to slap a temp tag on a junker and wreek havoc.

Nice car . But let the aftermarket spending begin . Hope you really didnt think you only spent $22,500. on your car. As you will find out another $5 grand will just fly out of your wallet in no time . Keep us posted on your mods.
