R50/53 what is the USA price for MCS?

Just a little research. Can you guys tell this european potential mini owner what the base price is for the cooper S in the states. Here in the Netherlands I will have to pay $26,195 and if I ordered today I would get it in February. What do you pay and how long is the delivery?

The suggested base price is $19,300 (43,837.69 Guilders - 19,892.70 EUR forgot it isn't Guilders anymore). Now that is base price, for the Premium package and Sports package and destination fee (California) it took the total up to $24,000 (24,737.09 EUR). Dealer mark up 2k (2061.43 EUR). Bonnet stripes and the rally lights another $969.50 (992.00 EUR) for a total of $26,969.50 (27,797.86 EUR) I ordered in begining of April and it arrived at the end of May.
Mine seems to have been an early arriver I don't think most are arriving as early as mine. I'm not sure. That would be a different post on the board.

6 to 9mnth wait (3 to 4months for MC), is what they say, but they seem to be coming in a lot sooner. The catch is that that the Contract states that the car can NOT be shipped abroad for 1year from date of puchase.

simply go to the miniusa.com site and "build" your car - it will be priced out in USD.

LETS ALL WRITE MINI AND DEMAND EUROPEAN DELIVERY PROGRAM. why? simple, delivery in Oxford will allow BMW/MINI to maintain and grow marketshare. Since there is no USA 1-series bimmer, MINI must step up - also, Audi has started their eurodelivery program for the A3, Volvo has perhaps the best program out there and are about to launch their C30, SAAB for the 9-3, and so on. this market niche is getting very crowded with fun
and high performing vehicles.
