Well, you've got me convinced on the clear bra. I'm currently driving a six year old, black BMW and the scratches etc. on the front of the hood and front bumper are depressing! I don't want to see a mark on my new Mini! I'll definately re-think the perma plate. Thanks again for the info.

The bra is a good investment! Even with it, I have a tiny tiny chip where it is cut out around lights, or the hood scoop! I'm also constantly scrubbing sand out of it (It's kind of like rubber, and things get impounded into it).
