Getting back to the car today after the gym and the driver's side door is not responding to the remote. The wife is inside fiddling with the lock switch so once I get her to stop toggling, I determine that indeed the driver's side handle is stuck in the locked mode. Is it electric like the boot? A simple fuse, perhaps? I'll dig out the owner's manual but thought I'd try here first where the experts hang out.

 

If you have your real key (not the plastic valet key), stick it in the driver's side door lock. Then quickly turn it clockwise to unlock it and then pull the door pull. You'll have to be good with your timing as the locks will attempt to relock if you don't get the door pull open in the limited window that the door is unlocked by the key.

(and yes, I have had this situation happen to me when a valet left my key half way in the ignition and the doors locked with the key inside.)
