Stock exhaust rattling

Okay this morning i started my 04 MCS and the exhaust was rattling bad like something was loose or the exhaust tips were falling off. I haven't checked the exhaust yet I'm just waiting for it too cool down. any tips on what to look for!

It could be a loose exhaust hanger or possibley the resonators are blown out. If you get under the car and bang on the cans you may hear some loose material which will give you your answer.

My resonator is loose after 50k Ironically I'm waiting for things to warm up before tightening the bolts. I can start the car, cor around back hear the rattle and place my shoe on each side to see where the vibration that was matking the noise needed to be dampened. Also could be a rock between the body and heat shield.

My car sounded like the exhaust was rattling the other day after I started it when I left from work. But after the car warmed up, the sound went away and hasn't returned. When I thought back, I went over a large patch of slush and snow on the way in, which probably froze to the exhaust after I parked the car, which made it shake when I started it up later. Could this be your car's problem as well?
