R50/53 Service Experience
Service Experience
I took the car in to have the dash rattle fixed. Of course, they have to order the parts after they find out there is a service bulletin for this.
I also had them do two programming changes. One to enable the rear fog, and the other to unlock all doors when the ignition is turned off. I had expected to pay 1/2 hour charge for the both of these, as that is what the SA had said before. The main SA was not there today. When I got the bill, each programming change was a 1/2 hour charge. They explained that the programming was for two different modules.
Is this what others have experienced? I find it hard to believe that they spent more than 15 minutes total programming the two changes.

In all honesty, it should take about 2 minutes to reprogram the stuff. But thats MINI/BMW service for you. I would talk to either the MA who sold you the car, or talk to the lead SA when you get a chance.
