Nice to see the MINI doing better than some highly regarded companies.
Especially when you consider the data is for cars between 3 and 9 years old, which means it's not even taking into account the last couple years of the R53 production, when most of the "bugs" were apparently worked out.
As for the Japanese car makers... they continue to impress, taking most of the top 10 spots.

Korean cars are pretty good now. A friend of ours has a 3 year old Kia Sorento SUV and you can't hear a rattle in that thing. Very solid build quality and you most definetely feel like you are aboard a Honda or Toyota, not a 1986 Hyundai Excel (Remember those..?)
Koreans are the guys to watch out for. They are offering the value and quality the Japanese used to offer 15-20 years ago.

I read an article yesterday that was surprising. Here is a brief quote from it.
