I'm in Maryland and got a few tickets, there is a thread somewhere on it, but don't feel like searching. My parents want me to take a DIP but from searching around on the MVA website it looks like I have to be required by the state to take the DIP before I can actually take it. Is there another type of program that I can take without needing it be a state requirement. Or am I reading it wrong, and don't need the state to require me to take the DIP?
