I installed the Mini Fini cup holder yesterday on the R/H strut after removing the stock on on my 2006 MCS. MY question is has anybody installed two of these in their cars. I would like to have one on the L/H strut as well, but I'm concerned about it hitting my right leg.

Please offer some advice, Oh almost forgot, how do I remove whats left of the black double sided tape that held in the factory cup holder, I'm affraid to use a solvant, I don't want to disfigure the silver plastic strut.

I left the factory holder and mounted a MINI Fini cup holder on the passenger strut underneath the factory. The only problem is when you have to move the seat up it hits this. I solved that by making the MINI Fini holder just a little loose and I can slide it up the tube.

With both holders, my wife can have the stock one and I can have the bottom one.

 

i am getting one for the left side also. i think it will work fine. i just have it high enough that you can tuck it in front of the console behind the shifter.
