Okay...here is my dilemma: I'm putting the finishing touches on my 2006 JCW MCS Convertible and I would like some opinions concerning the JCW Shift Indicator.

Can anyone relate their experiences with this device? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Has anyone put one on their convertible? If you have a convertible, can the lights be read while the top is up? Does the device really help with performance?

Sorry about the "shotgun" questionning, but I'm just curious about these things.

I do not have one but the '07 JCW accessories shows a new model mounted on the steering column just in front of the tach. For me I think it is a better location in front of my eyes instead of the middle of the dash.
