MINI Cooper theme Office
When we moved into our home almost 2 years ago, my "office" had previously been used as a nursery. Sad to say, it took me this long to get around to re-doing the Peter Rabbit theme and make it my own space.
First, it took a LOT of primer to remove the Peter Rabbit murals and then I painted the room using an antique silver paint to simulate the "Alloy Patina" finish of My MINI's interior (of course it just looks grey in a photo). I'm trying to keep everything black, silver, grey, and white, even down to the outlets which are industrial grey with black faceplates.
More photos to come, but here is one corner of the room that is looking pretty good right now. I'm pretty darn excited about it.

Looks great, Yucca! Are you sure that's really YOUR office? Where are all the books??? BTW, for good feng shui, you may want to move the desk so that you face your door when seated at it...

Is there a feng shui exception for mail and ice cream? Would a rear view mirror work to be able to see the door?

That looks very nice.
Looks like I'm headed in the opposite direction as you, Yucca. We moved in two years ago and turned one room into the computer room. Built in desk, thus the line on the wall, and my MINI or other auto related pictures.
Now you can see the nursery items slowly creeping in where my computer once sat on the desk that is long gone. It'll be painted someday. Maybe by the time she turns 23 I'll get around to it.

It is always a struggle with the feng shui. Should I face the door or be able to look out the window to see when the mailman and ice cream truck drives by?

And here's the perfect chair to go with it, from this thread.
Do you still have that picture or link of the Mini Desk (I lost it)? This would be a fine place to post it.
