As a matter of fact...I ordered a watch of Royal blue (19) figuring that would be the best match, but also ordered Cobalt (23) just in case. Neither was great...Royal was darker, Cobalt lighter...but I think Cobalt is a better match. The Hyper Blue makes the Royal Blue look a little purple.

Both are different enough however that I recommend you order both and decide for yourself. Because neither are a real close match, I'm considering going with a contrast color (red?) rather than trying for a match I can't get.

I'm curious what colors other Hyper Blue Owners gone with (with pictures lease?)

Thanks. Im gonna hold out for the swatches but i feared royal would be a bit purple.

If theyre both off, i might just do the piping in blue and ground the rest in grey/charcoal.

Would def love to see some HB owners Okole seats as well.

Check out my gallery. I went with royal for hyper blue. The sales rep from wet okole sent me samples so I could choose which color was closest. I apologize for my pic in my gallery because I had some white powder on my passenger seat.. have no idea what it was but it showed up on the photo.. no I'm not from Colombia, lol. Anyway, ask wet okole to send you samples and they will. Also, if you live in Hawaii or Southern Cal I recommend you have them do a free install which takes them about 5 minutes. Everyone that see's them loves them.. they are the best, bar none.

Hey, back to an old thread...

Any people have wet Okeles (sp) and a Dark Silver Metalic convertible? Tying to figure out what will go well with it, and have come up with black sides, and interior seat colors of:

Royal Blue
Cobalt Blue
Copper
Light Gray
Charcoal

Swatches on the way, but would really like to see them installed if anyone has some photos...thanks again!

Santa came early!!!

Santa made a pre-Christmas visit to my house today! He left me a nice set of Wet Okoles for Gromit. I love them!!

We ordered the orange and copper swatches, and the copper was closest to Hot Orange(the orange was almost a florescent orange ). In the picture the camera makes them look closer to orange than copper. Not an exact match, but close enough.

(Sorry to post a cabrio in the coupe section, but this seemed like the best thread.)

I think the red of the seats is very close to the chili red - very close. I'm very happy with them and they continue to get extra attention when people see them.
Question about your Wet Okoles...which piping option did you choose? Full or half? Thanks!

My MINI is Hyper Blue and I'm considering getting a complete set of Wet Okoles in the following color scheme:
Black sides
Red center
Royal Blue piping
I'm also thinking about requesting black headrests with the royal blue piping.
Is there a Hyper Blue owner out there with Wet Okoles? What color scheme did you choose? Pics?

Also sorry this is a convert in coupe thread, but hopefully I'll be forgiven as it's pretty easy to see them in a convert. I did half piping. Really unless you do all one color full piping won't show. The pic above and mine are full piping. When you see all black for example with full piping you'd see piping like we have, and piping where the red meets the black in these cars.

I love mine so much I just ordered a replacement set. I got three full years out of them and they are a little faded now. I run top down a LOT. I didn't use the UV protectant on them as much as I should have. Most people would probably be happy the way mine are, but when new they were SO red I just want to get back to that. I also do a couple car shows so I want them to really pop. I figured if I can get a 'new' interior every three years for this price I'm happy.

I figured I'd get two years before I wanted to replace so I'm happy. The first year I had a problem with the back seat ones getting really dirty with brake dust! That gave a lot of wear but I finally switched to ceramic pads and that helped a lot. Also the wheels look good for a couple weeks instead of 3-4 days.

I've got the red dash and door ellipticals. And I think I'm going to order black cocoa mats with the red tracer in them next week.

Just for laughs, look how similar our pics are.

That's because I copied you (well except for the manual transmission and S)
But yeah what mmatarella said!

Uber Blu - Get the swatches from them before you commit to a color. They're very responsive.

mmatarelle inspired my purchase of the red Wet Okoles 2 years ago and they work as advertised. They keep you warm in cold weather and cool and dry on hot days. However mine are faded out to a red/pink hue even with using the UV protectant, but going topless all that time makes it okay with me.
