I have a 02 MC and love it, love it, LOVE it! You will too when you finally get yours. I have a sunroof... Nice but not really needed. Classic Center console, took about a week to get used to looking to the side, now I wouldn't do without it. Heated seats! Nice to have in the winter. HK stereo...a must over the other....better sound. Good Luck on the future purchase, let us know which one you picked.

 

In '04 they started displaying digital speed in the tach, unless you have Nav or Chrono. I suppose they thought it would be redundant with the speedo right there.

 

I honestly didn't know you could get speed in the tach display, which was why I was interssted in the chrono pack to begin with! Now that I know, I rationalize it by saying I have an oil temp gauge and pressure gauge (two essentials), and the speedo is out of my passenger's view... though I do agree that the center speedo is classic.

 

Yes, I thought about the chrono pack till I saw the digital speed on the tach... very handy. I would not want to have to look to the side every time. I have definitely warmed up the the big speedo thing so I am keeping it!

I also decided for the sunroof, it just makes the car look less enclosed even if you never open it.

I am still debating a bit about the color, but I will let you know soon!

 

Thought I would let you know I just put my deposit down on a chili red w/black top and anthracite interior + headliner + HK (premium, sports & cold weather) packages. The car is currently in transit and should be at the dealership next week!
