Back after surgery...

I'm back after being out about two weeks due to shoulder surgery.
It was a pleasure to be behind the wheel again today.
The smile is back on my face!

It will be deliberate shifting for a while, but that's okay. I'm just excited to be in the drivers seat again.

what caused the foot problem? Holding the pedal down to the floor too much jk! Hope that all goes well. I had surgery after i tore my achilles. I know what your dealing with. Hope your back behind the wheel soon!

Arthritis, pretty bad for the last seven years, they finally fused the bone from my shin onto the foot, so now when I say I have a lead foot I mean it

Driving your MINI after shoulder, (or foot) surgery is therapy.
Should be embraced as early as possible during recovery.
You can trust me, I know a Doctor.

Nice to hear you are on the mend.

Take 2 Motors and call me in the morning

That's terrible, I hope you make a quick recovery.
It was no fun driving the Volvo for almost two weeks.
Hopefully someone will take you out and at least let you shift!

I shouldn't admit to this but I drove my manual M3 a few times when my right leg was broken. I was still on crutches, non-weight bearing, and pretty much confined to the couch. I had people to take me out every day but a couple of times I convinced myself that a trip to the bank or fastfood drive throughs was worth the risk. Kinda stupid looking back. Good luck on your recovery.
