Over the weekend I was at the Charleston British Car Club show in Charleston, SC. There was someone there that had some great looking luggage sitting in the back of his MCS. It was a dark grey or black fabric material with the MINI logo on it. It looked sweet and fit the back compartment perfectly. Any idea where this is available? I've checked the dealer websites but they have nothing like it.

 

There is a line of luggage found on the Miniusa site under motoring accessories. Might not be what you saw, though. Also, on the same site, there's a backpack carry-on combo unit with retractable handle and wheelies.

The luggage that you speak of is Sampsonite. It has been gone for a while now. I have one piece that I got from the dealer in April, it was the last one and it had been sitting on the shelf for a LONG time. Try Ebay, sometimes it turns up there.

 

You are correct! Thanks. After your post I did a Google search and found a picture of it on someone's website. I may check with my dealer just in case they still have some. If not I'll keep checking around. Thanks again.

 

Forget Samsonite and the rest. If you want thre good stuff, get TUMI. I found a weekend bag that maches my car. They will also make a custom colour for you...for a lot of $$$.
