Good for you.

I've only had my MINI for two weeks, so there hasn't been much time for sadness ...but I guess it would have to be when I scratched the bottom of the door when pulling it into the garage the first day I owned it. The garage door is precariously close to the front walk and I nicked the first step. My son (11) never heard me say the F-word before and I think I said it loud enough for the entire county to hear.

dean.

Ive only had mine a short time but the saddest moment was when someone else was driving her. Just watching her drive away and knowing they dont love her as much as I do and that they had better treat her well or else . Im hoping that that is the worst it gets.

mine was driving my '03 S to Charleston SC to sell. That was really sad. I still miss that car, I had it modified just to my liking. Now I'm starting all over with my '06 S, and I hope I get as attached to this one as I was the last one.

So far, so good!

The 7th day I owned my mini was the saddest day..

I was walking in the clouds once I made my mini purchase until that day.
I remember it clearly still, as I walked to my car I knew something was wrong , I could feel it inside.
So I walked to the passenger side and that's when I saw it.
Someone had smashed my passenger side mirror.
It was dangling by the wires with the mirror detached.
I searched for the mirror cap and found it on the other side of the street.
I didn't feel right just taping it up and refused to pay BMW $500 Dollars to fix it!
That's when I made the best purchase by ordering the Hayes manual and with a alan key and a vacuum hose I reattached it myself in five minutes.

If you can I highly recommend getting the manual, It may save you on your worst mini day.

Probably when the minivan ahead of me on the highway kicked up a road gator (shredded tire chunk) at me. It skipped up my bonnet (leaving deep gouges), then up my windshield, then dented the front of my roof.

Sad day, but got it fixed as good as new.
