as of this morning at 750am mountain time, Parker, Colorado.

I just went out to drop off some warmer stuff to my wife, 3 more inches in the last hour. No I know why I live here, affordable cost of living, so I can have all the cars I need to get around . LOVING the all wheel drive of Subaru right now. weeeehaaaaa..

We lived in Portland OR for three years. The winters there weren't that bad, but still too cold for my wife. So, thats why we're back in helL.A.

We will find out how the MINI works in KC winters. It should be jsut fine as we do not usually get over 24" snow per year total. However if you are after a second car get a Subaru. Scores of the older ones are really reasonable in price. Not a ton of power but the AWD system really works well. I throw snows on my STi and drive it year round.

You have no idea how true that is. Chloe is 8 months old now, and she helped me shovel for about an hour, chasing the shovel and then diving into the piles of snow on the side as I threw the snow into the grass areas. She really makes me smile and right now, she is totally crashed out on the floor by my feet, keeping them warm

Went out to drop stuff of to the wife who is out hand shoveling and helping her crews with snow removal...she is the park supervisor for Parker. Snow is wicked crazy, but thank got for the Subaru...AWD rocks this house and handles the nearly 8" of slush in front of the house, and up our hill without slipping...this is a phone pic as I approached our house about an hour ago.

My MINI is a DD and a little snow doesn't scare her at all:

If that's not enough proof, check out
