A refrigerator perhaps?

The Element looks pretty good with black or anthracite wheels. I'd switch the plastic slabs on the side with painted panels though.

BTW, love the multiple quote function.

Im not fond of big plastic unpainted exterior pannels on cars. I think it makes the car look cheap. Im not a fan of the element in the looks department, but the car is very functional.

We use our Element for camping, rough roads (all wheel drive), winter in Yosemite, and transporting more people in comfort then the Mini can.

An Element and a Scion were designed for two different purposes, and demographics.

An xB is like a young person's minivan!

here is the xb transformer. Maybe the xb and MINI transformers should fight.

If you have ever been in an xB, you will know that it's one of the easiest cars to get into and out of... I'm amazed that AARP hasn't started preaching the joy of these cars to senior citizens! If they could just put a moderately sized engine into it instead of the anemic-hampster-on-a-wheel 4-cyl that it has right now, I might think about it for my wife and have some modding fun!

I agree, i think the xb is a nice car "for the price" it has awesome reliablity. It can haul a decent amount of stuff with the rear seats folded. It doesnt have any unpainted pannels like a honda element. But the mini-mini-van (xb) just doesnt have any power. My friend use to have one, and he always said they should have put the celica GT(S?) engine in it. 195hp I think the stock xb has a 1.5L with 108hp? The car just needs a slightly bigger engine with better performance...

Also the new Dodge/Chrysler Hornet based on the current MCS engine and such makes me SICK as well.
why shouldn't d/c make use of the engine? they helped design it and build it with bmw. why should bmw be the only ones to benefit especially since mini is not going to use it anymore?

We kind like the plastic accents. Especially when some nincompoop opens their car door into them.

My brother bought one of those (a Scion) for his wife. She told me that she wanted one because they look like MINIs. Of course, I didn't say anything; I just smiled and went on my marry way. She wasn't trying to offend me.

I've always wondered what all the hype was over the XB. Suzuki already had a bread box back in the '90s with their 4 door Sidekick. That's all an XB looks like. And if people think Toyota isn't trying to rip off the MINI, why is it that the XB, XA and even the Yaris have center mounted speedos? They say it's so you can see the instrumentation better. I say they're trying to be like MINI.

I agree, it looks like a lunch box on wheels! Everytime I see one I wonder why someone would buy such an ugly car? But I guess it's no worse than all the ugly minivans out there.
