R50/53 Spring Snow and Body Shops...
#1
Well, the combination of an April snowstorm, badly plowed roads and performance runflats all met today. Majestically slid into a wagon 1/4 mile from my house as the ABS kicked in but wonderful Dunlops pretended to be toboggans. Driver headlamp is cracked, bonnet is mis-aligned on drivers side as well. All parties involved are fine, just wondering the next best step. We did not exchange insurance or call the police - other car had no visible damage and my MC was snowy, and I was a bit shocked by the whole thing.
Anyone else have "minor" damage to their MINI? Curious as to the repairs/cost and any of you Jersey MINI owners out there know of good body shops, let me know... :???:

where are you in jersey??
I don't know about any shops that do mini's exclusively but there is an excelent body shop in manasquan. (Supirior Auto Body on RT 71) don't have a phone # but they are in the book. I have had very good results with them with a classic mustang an explorer and a couple of kit cobras.
hope that helps some.

Dandp,
Sorry to hear of your incident. There's a place in Ocean, NJ (Monmouth county) you might want to check out: http://www.bodymotion.com. I knew of them when I had my Porsche 911 Turbo, and as a matter of fact they are campaigning 2 MCSs in a street stock class in the Grand Am racing series. It has been a few years so I don't know how they are now, but they did some great work on my Porsche (RUF conversion).
