Drop by a AAA office, they have free maps if you're a member, they're very good maps. Or drop by a Rand McNally store (you're in LA, there's one at the Century City Mall).

The maps we're talking about are the full vinyl ones found on the back of RV's, that as you vist a State you stick that State's sticker on it. Does that read right?

Anyway, we've got an RV dealer out by work, I'll check there tomorrow, but I'd think that you might be able to get one at a "local" RV camping spot. Do you have them in the big city?

I think the trick will be to find the State stickers, can't see stopping at every KOA on the way to NC.

I'll let you know what I find out Clo.

Clo.... AZ my old home state! It's a long boring drive....even at 120mph! Keep it easy through Blythe until you're east of Quartzite.... then hammer her down! Don't fall asleep! If you're going to stop to shop or visit within Phx, may I suggest SONIC drive in.... they have great shakes! and the huge chandler mall is BEAUTIFUL as far as malls go... especially compared to the SoCal malls.

Great to see that you are on the road! You probably already have more miles racked up than I do! Are you going any further North than Washington?If so, please post dates and destinations. Maybe you can add a few more motorers to your "visit list".

Well if you are in Phoenix and have a bit of time to kill ... Sonics are all over the place... but Taliesin West (frank loyd Wright's studio and home) is in Scottsdale.... I went there when I lived in Tucson... well worth the time... anyhow have agreat trip....
