If I remember correctly, the woman in jeans on the far left was driving the silver MCS.

There was even someone going the opposite direction in their MINI that caught the whole thing on video as they drove by and they weren't even assocaited w/ the scenic drive group! It took me 30 minutes to get all of the mud out of the wheel wells and the inside of the wheels when we got back to Fontana!
Yep, the MINI is Soulfire, the woman is MININurse, and the man is JustJay

I can't remember names, but the silver MCS belongs to her. She was right behind me on a run (moderate speed) down the Dragon and kept a great line. I had to stand on my brakes to avoid hitting a Harley that lost control in a turn and slid across the road and she was right there with me... quick reflexes. She's in the car right behind me: http://media.putfile.com/Scenic-Drive-at-MOTD-2006

Here's the video of "the great escape", shot by a passing motorist: http://media.putfile.com/Jango-Escapes-from-Mud

I saw PW/PW pass on the freeway a week ago....and I thought "wow". It just looks so clean. And it was my first sighting of one, in Southern California. It would be my next color combo if I got a second MINI. + you save $450 US when "building" one

There was a time when I thought that pw/b ruled.
Here's the old Beast.

And here is what happened when I realized I was wrong!

I thought that the solid pw would be "rare" when I ordered it, but now I'm seeing them all over.

This begs the question... Can you actually get a PW/W combo? Not that anyone would, but I wonder if it could have actually been ordered that way Sorry for the dumb question, i know

No... you can not order a PW/W combo. I don't think you could order one with the silver roof, even when they offered it.

John's MINI is one of the few, that I know of, that is more "PW" than mine. He also has some black accents in there and the black grill, so maybe not...

If I were getting one to "trick up" it would be other than PW/PW but PW/PW with a little chrome and a little black, IMHO, is the classiest look of all.

I thought the PW/PW was more rare as well, but found out quickly there are plenty out there. Most I see are PW/B but I have a PW/PW MCS, Crown Mini of Richmond, has a MC PW/PW and another dealership intown has a PW/PW MCS w/ red mirror caps and what looks like the JCW grille. I like the clean lines w/ the dark tint as well.

I remebered this if you want it even more rare: Get the interior in red or in lapis blue.

Has anyone seen one with white taillights?

When I first got my PW/PW I didn't see many others.

But I have recently seen quite a few around here, so it's becoming less rare.
