R50/53 Track day with a Ford GT
I ran my MCS in the first Solo2 event of the fall season this past weekend and we had a Ford GT make its first Solo2 appearance as well, also in my Novice class. He was trying to be careful, but at the first corner, around it went. Bit heavy on the throttle and all that HP didn't take much with cold tires.

WTF does that include- R&I and teardown of the engine and transaxle, just to have a look?

I guess those who have that kind of cash to throw around don't bother asking.
a service that costs more that my car! WOW! I'd take a garage full of MINIs before a Ferrari though. Ok, well, that might be pushing it...

It's not the picture its the car!
Also take note that this is the same color MINI as posted in F430 catching fire in Drezden(sp?), no wonder the FErrari is so far away

Gt
Thanks all.
All I can say is that if I had the dough, I would not hesitate on the GT. It is a sweet looking car inside and out plus it sounds really mean on the track. It did a 1:20 lap which is a really fast time at Grattan Raceway. One of the drivers had the car off the ground about a foot on one of the elevation changes. I love my MINI because it makes me smile when I drive it. The GT would make me just laugh out loud.

Grattan is a fun track and it must have been even more fun taking the MINI around at speed!
BTW, the Ford-GT is an awesome machine, thanks for the pics. Now if you could post some of the MINI at speed at Grattan, maybe airborne... Thread
