Not sure about the armrest yet, gotta go sit in some more cars and think about it.

The thing I do like about it is it's just one more little place to put something like some coins or a cell phone or a pack of smokes etc... On the Mini, each little cubbyhole is like premium real estate.

 

I added a little aftermarket pad to hard center rest in the Miata and it's the best thing I ever did. Also re. sport seats. Wife and I are average size and tested both and we agreed the SS are the way to go. Only 500 miles to date but we like them.
