Anyone else come accross this problem with their order? The production number I received from my MA is for someone else's mini, or atleast it should be because it's not what I ordered! It's the right color but not the correct specs for it. I wrote miniusa to let them know about the problem. I can't get ahold of my MA until next Thursday because he's out of town. What is up with this?

As long as you didn't just get your production order and discover that it's showing a Chili Red S.... (that's the default configuration and will be updated within ~72 hours), I'd call the dealership and ask to speak to someone.. if you can't get someone on the phone there, then call ASKMINI and get some input from them.

I wouldn't panic right now, as your car isn't in production quite yet, in all likelihood.

It's supposed to be PS/B, sport, premium, and cold weather packages, CVT, chrome bumper inserts, Xenons, sensing wipers/auto dimming mirror, HK stereo, and black with silver grey interior.

The number comes up as an IB. When that came up I figured I just got the wrong number so I went one number lower and it was a PS mini so I went with that one. It's from the right dealer and it sounds like the correct production date, but it's missing some things I wanted and it has leather, not fabric seats like I wanted. I just don't want to be tracking someone elses mini!

when are you expecting to go into production?

Definitely give the dealership a call, even if your MA isn't there to talk to you. Someone there should know what's going on and have the ability to look up the information.
