So I'm flipping through the channels (I should be reading my book club book, but I'm just not into it) and end up on Fine Living channel watching a design show. I was just catching the last 5-10 minutes or so but decide to check it out to see if it's worth Tivoing later. Anyway it gets me hooked with a bit about these designers doing some really cool crystal lighting, shoes, whatever. The guy says how he and his partner are hired by companies to find a new way to look at and use products. He states that one of their favorite "commissions" was with MINI. He states it's a fantastic brand, very innovative and a joy to work with and on. They designed the watch, 2 styles of shoes, a backpack thing.....
It's replaying tonight at 1:00am so I'm going to tivo it to get the entire episode, the show is called IDesign;Born to Design.
