Only car I own so that makes it my real car, but the FUN I have with it is outrageous.

I traded a Volvo wagon on my mcs.The Volvo was a nice ,comforable car;but it never made me smile.Every time I go around a corner or pull onto a freeway entrance ramp in my mcs,I'm one happy sob

If forced, I'd probably have to agree that it's both a toy and a "real car," simply because one can enjoy driving a MINI so much. It is also my sole daily driver...and IMO it is a good practical choice to own a MINI. The unfortunate thing, though, is that we (Americans) expect so little out of a "real car." Why not have fun, too? Why not have premium features in a small car? Why not have some styling? We are the ones that have accepted so little from automakers over the last 30 years...its time to up the standard! I hope MINI sets a new benchmark for the next generation of consumers.
