I recall several people mentioned they were booked on the Aida for a 27th departure. I was too. If you go to the shipping site, did your status change today to loaded on boat? Looks like the Aida is booked for an Aug 7 arrival.

I was booked and received at the dock, but unless they haven't finished updating the list, I didn't make the ship. It's getting frustrating not knowing what is going on. If I missed the Aida, what ship is my MINI going to catch? I've been at the terminal now since July 19th. I know that's not as long as some have waited, but it's longer than others. :???:

 

Maybe they haven't fully updated list yet. If not, I think you should see your mini booked on a new boat name with a departure at the shipping site. Maybe you can email the shipping company and ask. I remember someone on the list doing that several weeks ago and getting an answer. I hope you got on the Aida.

 

The cargo tracking website says that my MINI is on the AIDA, but when I call the 866 number and check the status, they tell me that it is still waiting at the port of departure and is not booked on a ship yet. I'm very confused.

 

It's been a frustrating several days. I was on the Aida, then the Isolde, now I'm booked for the Hudson Leader that is due to come into port Southampton tomorrow - August 1st. I wrote an email to WW about missing the privious two boats (I've been in port since the 19th), and cars arriving after mine were loaded on the vessel. I got a very nice email back from WW telling me that BMW has instructed them "to no longer provide information regarding the shipment of MINIs." He also gave an erroneous website to contact BMW. I wrote back to tell them that there was no website - http://www.bmwna.com. They wrote back correcting the website to http://www.bmwusa.com. I guess if we want to vent and ask questions, we will need to do it there. However, I suggest that we also write to the MINIUSA site. Remember to always be professional, and pleasant even though we aren't feeling that way. That's my latest news! I hope some of you can use it.

 

My original production date was 8/2/02.
On 7/30/02 My status changed to awaiting transport.
on 7/31/02 I thought I'd try typing the last 7 VIN digits in the WW websit.
It says

the name of the ship is the TANABATA voyage EB225-TAN.
