R50/53 Financing a new MINI stategy
Financing a new MINI stategy
I want a new MINI. I have the bug again. I traded in my 04MCS in Dec of 2004 for a 2005 Honda Accord EX 4cyl. It's a long story but I'm sick of my boring Accord and having 4 doors and a local dealer and all that is not so appealing anymore. I want a 07 Cooper in the $22k range.
My question is should I keep my Accord until I can get an 07 MINI and trade it in at that time or should I trade it in now on something that will lower my payments so I can start saving some cash for a down payment in 07?
The Accord has a little less than 10K miles on it and KBB trade in value is 18-19k. I owe about 14K and my payments are $350 per month at 1.9% APR.
Any suggestions?

Keep it. You've got to drive something and the cost of tax and registration on 2 cars in just a few months isn't worth it.
Just go get yourself first on the list for an 07 Cooper .. .

Thanks,
I think you guys are right. I will work on being patient. Can't wait for MINIUSA to get the configurator up because that will allow me to kill months of time trying to decide on what i want.
