So stupid me put of registering so long because I wasn't sure if I could go but now can and registration is closed If anyone can't go or has a extra band I would love to work something out with you. I am not going to start at Santa Barbara though since I live on route to Vegas, but I do plan to stop in Barstow and Stateline on the way up, so could meet someone there or whatever. I really want to go and have fun with everyone otherwise I feel like I will have to stay on the out skirts

Also if you are going to Vegas part of the route they are having people take is closed. I wrote to MINI but no one has got back to me. I hate for people to get out in the middle of nowhere and have to try to figure out the detours that end up taking you way out of your way.

The 138 is closed at the 18 (middle of nowhere past Palmdale). In my opinion the best way to avoid this is by taking the 18 to the 395 making a left going up to Airbase Road and making a right (just past the Adelanto Baseball Stadium). Airbase road changes names but is easy to follow, 4 lanes (vs. the other routes two) and is 60MPH. That road ends and National Trails Highway you make a right go down a few miles and that takes you right to the 15. By taking this route you don't backtrack, its the route I always take.

 

Tankgirl - there aren't area-specific bracelets. If you have a bracelet, it's good for any event. That said, if you don't get one before you get to Vegas, I have a spare one, PM me if you need it.

 

Hey, if anyone else has a spare, PM me or something... I'll be driving across the country at the same time. I only have 4 days to do it but I would probably be able to stop at one of the stops mid-country.
