R50/53 MINI and the Hummer H2, Natural enemies?
I think a lot of the anger of the big car/SUV hate is that they look so big when they are so close and that's invariably where they are. However. Small car people have been known to be just as close and just as big of jerks.
I thought it sad the other day when I read about a H2 owner running over (forward) their 2-year old son because the vehicle was so big he couldn't see him.

What is with all this SUV hatred????
Do you not think that those hundreds of thousands of SUV owners out there ... far more than MINI owners, might thing the EXACT same thing about MINIs? Everyone has their own opinions ...
ITBL
Another SUV hating thread WAY out of hand.

Why hate on SUVs? Is it jealousy? Is it a "size" thing? I've always thought it "take a real man to drive a small car", if you get my drift...

Like the saying goes..."don't crap where you eat!" The Mini community is an EXTREMELY diverse cowd...we have cops, truck drivers, construction workers, designers, toe nail clippers...you name it...Mini drivers are not exempt from being SUV owners out of necessity or just another A-hole on the road...remember Mr Bling?

Unspoken is whether she cuts down some pedestrians out of spite or just stalks the person who wronged her so that she can crush her beneath her new vehicle....
There is another one with a guy on a sporting field - but I didn't have the chance to see the whole thing yet.
Both commercials share a basic message - you are too nice; come and buy a Hummer so that you can be an ***hole

I thought the mother in the park picks up her kid. Then goes to buy a hummer and in the scene that they don't show is her driving thru the park trying to run over the slide, the kids, the ***hole other mom, and anyone not fast enough to escape her wrath. Not my idea of a good company image.
It should show her get in her Mini turn on the radio then start driving and waving at other Minis. Why let someone spoil her day.
We all need to let it go just relax.
