Sometimes friends don't know when to stop teasing. If they are there for you when you really need them, you wouldn't want to cut them loose.

Now, getting even is another story. Why not find some dude that is ....say.... 6'8" tall. Then challenge your friends to a duel. Make sure your passenger seat is lowered all the way, have your tall friend climb into each of you and your friends vehicles and check out the leg room. The one with the most gets lunch from all the others. You might be surprised at the outcome.

why not: "I get that a lot from people that don't understand cars"
then just smile and walk away.

Actually those kind of comments would make me laugh and I'd play along!! Example: "Ok, I'm going to lunch now, it may take me awhile to wind up my BMW reject/VW wannabe....I hope I make it to subway in my toy car!!" Play with them...and laugh!! You have a fab car and they know it, they are just trying to get under your skin and they have!! True, they are acting like kids in junior high..but who cares? Drive away in your very cute mini and just smile!! Enough said?!

Or you can just ignore them; they'll get bored and go away eventually.
Yes MINI did, they are called 'Motoring Citations' and they can be downloaded/printed from www.miniusa.com

A few of my friends used to snap small comments here or there about my "small", "chick", "clown", etc. etc. car.

They all stopped when I took each of them out on a drive just through a large parking lot. Now all I here is "are you taking the MINI? Can I ride?"
