Hello! I'm waiting for my MCS which is due to arrive at the San Antonio Mini Center sometime in August.

In the meantime, I'm trying to get educated about what it is I need for protection on the exterior. (BTW, I've learned sooo much from you all on this website!)

So my question is: where can I get a good deal on the 3M invisishield installation in the SA/Austin area? I live in Austin but wouldn't mind getting it done in San Antonio since I gotta go there to pick up the car anyway. I just got a quote from a guy there for $795 for the hood, fender, mirror and bumper.

Is this good or does anyone know of someone who can beat this?

The dealer can beat that! Well, my dealer atleast. My dealer will do the full frontal invisi bra, and wondow tint all the way around for ~$600.

I think you will be over charged if you go with the $795 guy.

 

yeah the sales manager told me that they don't do clear bra installations there at the dealership and that he could only refer me to this one guy who is subcontracted by several dealerships. Thought that was kinda odd.

 

My dealers does that too. They say that their techs hates installing them. So they just farm it out to specialists.
