I recently notice that whenever I press the "PRESS" handle to fold the seat so that a rear passenger can get in, the seat folds down but doesn't slide forward. However, it does slide forward when I use the handle on the lower left-hand side. I spent hours trying to figure out why is this so. Then, I realized that the cable that is supposed to make the seat slide forward is broken. My car is a 2004 MINI. I wonder if this is under manufacturing warranty. I really hope so. Btw, does anyone else have sunroof problems? Mine makes crackling noise when it's open (especially when I go over bumps and such). These problems have given me such a big headache. I hope I don't have to pay to fix these since I literally have no extra money to spare (you know how college students are... they have no money ).

Talk to your MINI dealer! If yours is an '04, you should have a couple years left on the warranty, which is basically "bumper to bumper".
