I want to get the Hartge conversion done. It's been dynoed at 210 hp with the stock exhaust. I'm not sure if this can be installed this side of the pond, so I would like to have it done before the car is shipped here. If I contact the factory and tell them I'll pick it up, then drop it off again a couple days later, will they delay the shipment of the car? Or if I let a famiy friend pick it up between build date and load date, can they do the work at that time? I really want this kit, but I don't want to pay thosuands of dollars to ship the car here. Or will they sell me the parts so I can get them installed at a local Hartge dealer? Any ideas?

Sounds like more trouble than its worth....good luck on getting MINI to do that. I think you will have a better chance of winning the lotto.

There's a shop in Denver that is claiming they can do the Hartge install. The guy posted here on MCO a few days ago.
I'm sure if there's a place in Denver, there'll be others soon.

Thanks! The parts are under the Hartge warranty when the guy in Denver installs them, right?
